Leila traveled to NYC to perform an album release show at Rockwood Music Hall.
Leila hosted her album launch party in West Hollywood, performing a special acoustic concert for friends, family, and supporters.
Leila released her DEBUT ALBUM, PROMISES! It features 8 of her original songs, and merges rich cultural traditions with contemporary pop stylings. It is available worldwide for streaming and download on digital platforms.
Leila was the artist guest at the LLCS Holiday Luncheon, benefiting children's education in Lebanon. The event took place at the world famous Cicada Club in Downtown Los Angeles.
Leila was featured on Episode 23 of Her Process, a podcast dedicated to interviewing women in the arts. Topics discussed include Leila's creative, cultural, and educational roots, the ways she's made a living doing music, her multilingualism, and what goes behind the songwriting process.
Leila performed Arabic music at Enigma Magazine's Celebration of Arab Glamour & Success, accompanied by Lebanese percussionist Marc Khoury. Guests of honor included Arab celebrities Yousra, Hala Sarhan, and Amr Youssef (who complimented her voice after the performance!).
The National Apostolate of Maronites (NAM) Convention featured Leila as a Lebanese-American performer, alongside renowned talent from the Middle East. It was one of her biggest performances yet, and definitely one of her favorites.
Leila was invited to be the Keynote Speaker at the International School of the Peninsula's middle school graduation. She shared the importance of multiculturalism and its impact on her musical career.
Leila picked up a residency at Calamigos Guest Ranch in Malibu, playing and singing cover music from 8pm-midnight every Saturday. Come sit back and enjoy craft cocktails, delicious hors-d'oeuvres, and a lovely outdoor patio with firepits...as Leila takes your musical requests in the lounge throughout the evening!
Leila has been immersed in the recording process for her debut album, fusing her intricate piano and acoustic guitar stylings with her pop-oriented, lyric-driven, and middle-eastern-inspired melodies. She is hoping for a September release.
Leila sang Arabic songs and played keys at the second MELANGE of 2016, with proceeds benefiting the Artist Mission, a nonprofit that provides aid and art workshops to refugees and children of war.
Leila was named the 2016 Rising Star Alumna Award Winner by the International School of the Peninsula for her "passion, creativity, and altruistic spirit." She was invited to sing at ISTP's 28th Annual Gala & Auction, where she accepted the award and performed a lively medley of show tunes (inspired by the night's Roaring 20's theme).
Thanks to her generous friends, family, and beyond, Leila raised over $12K to fund her album - more than doubling her initial goal.
Leila launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund her debut album! She exceeded her minimum target goal in just over 24 hours, and she's thrilled to continue the progress (until the April 9 deadline) in order to make her lifelong passion a viable, fulfilling reality.
Leila performed at MELANGE, a multicultural showcase featuring artists from The Voice Lebanon and Mexico, and stars from Youtube and Instagram. She sang Arabic classics accompanied by a full band, in collaboration with fellow members of the House of Lebanon Artist group.
Leila became a member of the Lebanese Ladies Cultural Society (LLCS), a nonprofit dedicated to providing scholarships to young students throughout Lebanon. She performed English, Arabic, French, and Spanish songs at the LLCS holiday luncheon at Fig and Olive, donating her time to the cause.
Leila performed at the Sunjams Foundation backyard concert in Orinda, California, which benefited children's musical education in local schools.
Leila went on a California tour with Katie Stump and Chris Garwood!
Leila released her first full-band recording. "Rain Song" is available for purchase on iTunes, and for streaming on Spotify.

Leila was featured as StarCentral Magazine's Female Artist of the Month.

Leila received her ARCT Diploma in Classical Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music (the equivalent of a university-level degree).
